Palatine Concert Band

It was another beautiful night for an outdoor concert in Palatine! Except for a few bugs after dark, the 75 degree evening, the bright half moon (upper right of photo), and the stirring and upbeat music added to the magic of the evening.



Here's Scott in the flute section. He just got back from their 2 week trip to Colorado and Utah yesterday, missing all the practices for the concert, but knew all but 2 of the pieces from prior concerts over his 11 years in the Palatine Concert Band, and he is such a good sight reader he had no problem with the new songs.

    What are all those white rectangular things on the back of some people's clothes?

    I noticed those, too, last night. They are tags on the back of some people's sling chairs.
