Disney World Magic Kingdom Visit 2

Today was our ninth successive day at Disney World's and our second at the Magic Kingdom. We rode some attractions again and also some we didn't get to last week such as the "Liberty Square Riverboat" which provided scenes like this...

...and the warmer weather permitted us to ride the thrilling "Splash Mountain" flume ride with its 40 foot waterfall -- twice!

Besides the long drop, guests also enjoy the colorful audio-animatronics located inside the mountain which featured the characters of the Uncle Remus/Brer Rabbit stories...

We also saw yet another animated 3-D movie, "Mickey's PhilharMagic," in which Donald Duck tries to imitate Mickey, the conductor, with hilarious consequences...

...and we again rode Big Thunder Mountain railroad, and here's a photo from the highest point...

Other new attractions for us included Tom Sawyer Island, the raft to the island, the Tomorrowland Transit Authority which was previously called the WEDway People Mover, and the spectacular Walt Disney Carousel of Progress, an update of Walt's audio-animatronics presentation originally created way back in 1965 for the World's Fair in New York City. Second rides on the Jungle Cruise, Haunted Mansion, and Pirates of the Caribbean filled out the day.
