Luncheon and Concert

Yesterday was the summer luncheon for our unit of the Illinois Retired Teachers Association. Bob Lyons, one of our members and a fellow retiree from District 211, is also an elected member of the state Teacher Retirement System board and gave us a "state of the state" report. Then last night was a beautiful evening for the first of the summer outdoor concerts by the Palatine Concert Band.



...after which we got to talk to Scott for a bit before heading home...
