Nora, the Piano Playing Cat

This is not a trick taught to Nora. She began sitting at the piano at about one-year-old and is almost four in this clip from 2007. She plays only when the mood strikes her, which is usually several time a times a day for short periods. This clip has had over 14 million viewings in 2 years!

And the sequel, where Nora plays in a duet...

  3. Just HAD to stop my enjoyment of listening to your first YouTube video to add my first comment ... ... REALLY sounds (and appears as tho!), Chuck, like the cat is an actual 'piano tuner', listening with all his might for the correct pitch ... ... will come back atcha again shortly, no doubt, after I listen some more ... ... well, I listened some more to the rest of your first video and then deleted it (too much!) ... onward and upward to the second ... ... Well, never mind! Stopped listening.

MEANwhile, however, Chuck, I just loved these two videos! Reminded me of years and years and years ago, when I had the 'world's most wonderful and intelligent' cat.

Thanks for bringing up some really splendiferous memories! :)
