We met the group in Crystal lake and biked 20 miles to East Dundee and back on a beautiful 80 degree and sunny day, and saw dozens of others likewise enjoying the beautiful forest preserve ride. So many, in fact, it seemed like a weekend - the only time such trails are usually this populated by users.
A brief stop on the bridge over the Fox River shows Len, Dave, Carol, Ellen, Marlene, and Patti all smiling broadly at summer's finally having arrived in Chicagoland. Similar wide smiles also adorned all the faces as we ate at Colonial Restaurant after the ride!
