America's National Parks

After re-watching Ken Burns' marvelous PBS series, "The National Parks: America's Best Idea," I began counting up the parks I've visited (54).  The National Park Service administers 420+ properties, but only 63 have full national park status (as opposed to being a national seashore or lakeshore or scenic river or monument or battlefield or historic site, etc.) Below are the 63 parks with links to my photos and info about my visits and the years I was there, representing over 150 visits in total.  (I am also including information I've compiled about the 9 parks I haven't yet visited.)

Chuck,

It has been many years since we worked together on projects and I have been following your adventures on and off since. Finally, I have caught up with you on National Parks visited.
Five you have that I don't: Channel Islands, Gateway, Glacier Bay, Indiana Dunes, and Wrangell-St. Elias; five I have that you do not yet have: Hawai'i, Katmai, Pinnacles, Virgin Islands, and White Sands. I am planning on visiting Gateway later this year and will keep up with your adventures.

Hi, Ray,

Gerat to hear from you! Still doing trail projects? I'll be on one in Colorado in August. Great to see someone else who loves the Natl Parks as much as I do.
