Deer Grove FP hike

After my volunteer gig at church this morning, I met the gang for lunch in Palatine and then a hike in Deer Grove. No deer sightings again (Ellen calls this place Deer-less Grove) but the sunny skies and 62 degree temps were refreshing after a week-plus of below average temps. And of course the colors were even better thanks to the overnight freezes...

We're hoping the next few days allow us to bike again before winter weather crashes down on us.
