Deer Grove hike

We met Dave and Patti at Deer Grove Forest Preserve again and hiked for 90 minutes in the 25 degree chill (6 degree wind chill) and had the place to ourselves. Icy patches hidden beneath the snow cover made the hike a bit tricky, but it was worth the effort and felt good to get out after 2 days of poor weather and the stress and excitement of 2 concert performances.
