The perfect storm

For two days, the professional weather-guessers have been predicting severe thunderstorms and even tornado warnings for today. Well, look at those skies! Could you be so wrong so often at your job and still HAVE a job? Anyway, we were happy they were so far off, as it allowed us to get 15 miles on the Millennium Trail today. (So it was a perfect storm because it did not impinge upon our day.)

A few trees are changing color, but most still are green and most still have the majority of their leaves, thanks to the warm autumn thus far.

Ellen enjoyed the Halloween decorations on the homes as we toured the sub-division (see her blog for photos of them) and so we stopped at the entry decorations in front of the gorgeous mums.

She also was tickled by the sign advertising the opportunity for horseback riding (the Millennium Trail which circles the community.)
