We celebrated Suzi's birthday with food prepared predominantly by master chef Ellen, here seen making 3 types of chicken dishes as well as eggplant parmesan using some eggplants won by Phil at a wine tasting...
...and obviously the eggplant appetizer was a huge hit...
... as was the fabulous meal which included salad, the best bi-color corn-on-the-cob of the season thus far, baked potatoes with all the fixings, and garlic bread...
...followed by stimulating conversation...
... and a rousing game of "Apples to Apples."
All in all, a wonderful afternoon with loving family.
