We finally got back to the DRT after all the flooding on the river. Having gotten our energy back after the 2 tough days with the food poisoning, we met Dave and Patti and biked 25 miles, from Independence Grove north to Wadsworth Road and back. This segment includes the wonderful 3+ miles through Wadsworth Prairie without a road crossing, and here's a picture of the gang and a CN train...
The beautiful 72 degrees and sunny skies brought lots of people out, and also this one deer that was just as curious about us as we were of her -- she stood there staring at us for over a minute before she took off.
A scrumptious lunch at Quizno's 3/4 of the way through the ride topped off a perfect ride!
