Volo Bog State Natural Area
Volo Bog Natural Area and Wildlife Refuge is a few miles from my house and protects the ecologically sensitive bog area as well as hundreds of acres of tallgrass prairie. We did a 4+ mile hike through the forests, prairies, and wetlands of the preserve and reveled in the flora and fauna.
