Interspersed among all the geysers are hundreds of hot springs. Yellowstone has half the world's geothermal features, all the result of the 45 mile by 30 mile Yellowstone Caldera -- a volcano full of hot magma right under my feet -- which heats the water and creates the various geothermal entities, which then change based on weather, minerals, earthquakes of the area, etc. Here are some of the hot springs we saw:
