Pfloating the Missouri with the Pflug Pfamily

Below is Sam preparing to jump from the canoe into the cold water. He did jump, enjoyed it, and jumped a second time. Another time, on a cooler day, the box he was leaning against shifted, sending him and the box into the river. Greg immediately fished both out, but Sam took care after that to keep his balance.

Lunch time on an island...

... and supper time at a camp ground.

Sam wanted to pet the cows, but they kept walking away. Cattle (and their excrement) were a bane on the river, since they enjoy open range policies out here, whether on private land or BLM land. Some of the camp areas were fenced to keep them out, but not all of the camp areas.

Another lunch break on another island.

Master chef Greg also does brats...

... and Gator does S'mores!

Greg takes us on a cave exploration.

Sam graces me with his presence on my lap at the firepit.

After the trip was over and we awaited the shuttle to return us to Ft. Benton, Greg finally was able to rest.
