Next came preparing the ingredients for the cookies...

... followed by cookie-cutter artistry...

...replete with sprinkles on the tops...

After an afternoon of aromatic air throughout the house (and with Steve joining us following work) we feasted on cheese pierogi with slow-cooked spare ribs and sauerkraut, and dessert of sugar cookies and decorated orange-chocolate, cookie-cutter cookies.
