The "big storm" they warned us about dropped perhaps 7 inches, but it was sufficient to allow snowshoeing, so after a breakfast at Walker Brothers, we headed over to Cuba Marsh Preserve and got a good workout with 85 minutes on the snowshoes. Here are Len, Chuck, Ellen, Patti, and Marlene showing off their footwear...

... and using the footwear in the preserve.

The snowshoes weren't really necessary for the 7" snowfall, but it was a good excuse to allow Ellen to use her snowshoes for the first time, and she was a bit surprised at how strenuous the sport is.
